Terms of Service for Fast & Pray

Welcome to Fast & Pray! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application and related services (collectively, the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

1.1. Eligibility

To use the App, you must be at least 13 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

1.2. Account Registration

• You may need to create an account to access certain features of the App.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information and keep your account credentials confidential.

1.3. Permitted Use

• The App is for personal, non-commercial use only.
• You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.
• Upload or transmit harmful content, including viruses or malware.
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others.

3. Intellectual Property

• All content, design, and intellectual property rights in the App are owned by Fast & Pray or its licensors.
• You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without prior written consent.

Scripture text displayed in the App is provided by API.Bible, a ministry of the American Bible Society, and is subject to the following terms:

Usage Restrictions

• Scripture text displayed in the App is for personal, non-commercial use only and is provided for the purpose of spiritual reading and devotion.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Scripture text displayed in the App.
• Scripture content is displayed exactly as provided by API.Bible and may not be modified, adapted, or altered in any way.
• The Scripture text may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not in conformity with the standards and teachings of historic, orthodox Christianity.
• Fast & Pray does not claim ownership of any Scripture text. All rights to the Scripture text are retained by the respective rights holders and publishers.

Fair Use Tracking The App participates in API.Bible’s Fair Use Management System (FUMS), which anonymously tracks Scripture usage to ensure compliance with publisher requirements. No personally identifiable information is shared with API.Bible through FUMS.

4. User-Generated Content

• You may have the ability to post or share content on the App (e.g., prayer requests, comments).
• You grant Fast & Pray a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App.
• You are solely responsible for the content you share and must ensure it does not violate any third-party rights or laws.

5. Health Disclaimer

• Fast & Pray is not a medical or health service provider and does not provide medical or health advice.
• Any suggestions, information, or content provided in the App is for informational or spiritual purposes only and should not be interpreted as medical advice or a substitute for professional consultation with a qualified healthcare provider.
• Fast & Pray is not responsible for any decisions you make regarding your health, including fasting practices or dietary changes, based on content provided in the App.
• You should consult a healthcare professional before making any significant health-related decisions.

6. Privacy

• Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
• By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

• The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

• Fast & Pray is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
• Our total liability to you for any claims related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if applicable).

9. Termination

• We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted in the App, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
